Setting Up Your First Project

What Is a Project?

A project is how you organize work in Sovran. Each project contains its own assets, creative library, sequences, and ad campaigns. Most teams create one project per brand or product.

Creating a Project

1. From the Dashboard, click the "New Project" button.
2. Enter a project name (e.g., your brand name or product line).
3. Click "Create" to finish.

Your new project opens with an empty asset library, ready for you to upload video clips.

Project Structure

Each project has these main sections, accessible from the sidebar:

• Assets — Your uploaded video files and generated content.
• Library — Tagged clips organized by script module type (hooks, bodies, CTAs, etc.).
• Sequences — Modular ad sequences that combine library clips into renderable permutations.
• Ads — The Meta Ads publishing interface for pushing rendered videos to your campaigns.
• Context — Your brand knowledge vault that powers AI generation.
• Video Editor — The browser-based timeline editor for assembling and editing videos.
