Invite teammates to your workspace and manage roles and permissions.

Workspaces

Every Sovran account has a workspace. All projects, assets, and team members belong to the workspace. The person who created the account is the workspace Owner.

Inviting Team Members

Owners and Admins can invite teammates by email:

  1. Go to Team in the sidebar.
  2. Click "Invite Member".
  3. Enter the teammate's email address.
  4. Select a role — Member or Admin.
  5. Click "Send Invitation".

The invitee receives an email with a link to join your workspace. Invitations expire after 7 days but can be resent.

  • Owner — One per workspace. Full control over members, roles, and workspace settings.
  • Admin — Can invite and remove members and manage invitations. Cannot change roles or remove other admins.
  • Member — Can view, edit, and create projects and assets. Cannot manage team settings.

Managing Invitations

From the Team page, Owners and Admins can:

  • Resend — Send a fresh invitation email with a new 7-day expiration.
  • Revoke — Cancel a pending invitation before it is accepted.

Renaming Your Workspace

The workspace Owner can rename the workspace from the Team page by clicking the edit icon next to the workspace name.
