Voice Cloning For Ads
Voice cloning for ads lets your team create new spoken scripts with a reusable voice. Build a custom voice from a clear sample you have permission to use, then select it when you generate ad audio in Sovran. Review each read before you add it to a video or use it in Voiceover Remixes.

Choose a clear source sample
Record a sample, upload audio, or select suitable speech from an existing video asset to begin the voice setup. Preview the selected source and listen for one clear speaker before you continue. Avoid music and effects in the sample so you give the cloning process useful speech to work with from the start.

Review the permission step
Name the voice and review the permission controls before you decide whether to create it. Confirm that you are the speaker or have explicit permission from the speaker, then complete the required consent step. A selected source and a filled name prepare the request but do not create a voice until you submit it.

Check the source speech in context
Open the source asset's Transcript tab to read the spoken words while you assess the video as a possible voice sample. Play the source to check that the same speaker stays clear throughout the part you want to use. The transcript helps you inspect the material, but the cloning process uses the audio rather than edited transcript text.

Choose the script for your ad
Open your saved scripts when you want to reuse approved wording as the starting point for another voiceover. Select the message you need, then check the words in Voiceover Studio before generating audio with the chosen voice. Keep the opening and offer focused on the creative question your team wants the next ad to answer.

Review saved audio before editing
Use the saved voiceovers list to listen to available reads and inspect the speed controls before using audio in a video. Saved reads can use preset or custom voices, so check the selected voice when generating each new script. Listen for clear names, suitable pacing, and a final action that sounds right for your message.

Build an ad around ready audio
Select a ready saved voiceover in Voiceover Remixes and review the batch settings before creating editable video drafts. The remix uses your footage to build an ad that matches the audio length, regardless of whether the read uses a preset or custom voice. Review the draft and refine its clips, captions, and sound before rendering.
